Tar Heels, use your voice to build a healthier Carolina!  From Oct. 8 –30, you can share your health and wellness experiences through the National College Health Assessment (NCHA).

Your feedback helps the Office of Student Wellness and other entities across campus better understand students’ needs and identify ways to improve campus life.  Keep an eye out for an email invitation from ncha-web@acha.org to participate.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Accessing the survey: You will receive a personalized survey link via email from ncha-web@acha.org.
  • Online and confidential: The survey takes 20–30 minutes to complete, and you can access it from anywhere. Your responses are anonymous.
  • What it covers: You will be asked about your mental health, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and more to help us get a snapshot of the current state of student health and well-being at Carolina.

Why participate?

Your voice shapes the health and well-being programming, services, and resources offered at Carolina. By participating, you help inform the support available to you and your fellow Tar Heels.

As an added thank-you for participating, you’ll be entered into a raffle for a chance to win:

  • Loop Quiet earplugs
  • Mini projector
  • $10 Epilogue gift card
  • Skullcandy headphones
  • UNC swag
  • Weighted blanket

If you have any questions, contact us at studentwellness@unc.edu. We’re here to help!  If you’d like to help us encourage participation in the NCHA, we have put together a promotional toolkit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. Together, we can continue shaping Carolina into a healthier place for all Tar Heels.
