hha! Peer Educators

Healthy Heels Ambassadors (hha!) are peer educators who aim to promote wellness through education.

Get Involved

Student Wellness is seeking 10 undergraduate students to become health and wellness peer educators. If you’re interested in substance misuse education, harm reduction, sexual health and healthy relationships, mental health, stress management, sleep hygiene, or general wellness, this is the opportunity for you!

Expectations

The expected weekly commitment is 5 hours, including a bi-weekly team meeting. The ambassadors will conduct workshops, attend and represent Student Wellness at events, and advocate for the well-being of all students.

Compensation

Participating students are eligible for $500 compensation per semester, totaling to $1000 for the full academic year, contingent upon completing the following:

  • NASPA online, asynchronous Peer Educator Training ( Student Wellness will cover the cost of training)
  • In-person/on-campus Workshop Facilitator training the week of August 10, 2026
  • Attendance at 5 events per semester ( e.g., workshops, tabling events, original programming)
  • Attendance at bi-weekly meetings ( ~1 hour each)
