From the room your study in to the people around you to the tree-lined sidewalk you take to class each day,the quality of your environmentinfluences your overall well-being. Take a look at the different types of environments below and think about the spaces that make your feel safe, energized, and restored:
Social environment – Your daily interactions with people (both in-person and online) and the social norms that shape them
Built environment – This is where you live, study, and socialize. Oftentimes, this is where you have the most control. Your home – whether an on-campus residence hall room or an off-campus house or apartment – is ideally your retreat and respite place. It is where you can return for relaxation and renewal.
Natural environment – The nature all around you including air, water, plants, and wildlife. These elements all have an influence on your overall well-being
