Chandler Huggins (he/him)

Well-being Coaching Specialist

Chandler grew up in Raleigh, had a passion for basketball and always dreamed of becoming a Tar Heel.  He did make it to the Dean Dome, however, only as a student in the stands.  Graduating in 2013 with a degree in Economics, he began his career working for a financial advisor.  While there, he mentored some newer employees and realized he found more joy in empowering others to maximize their potential.

That experience led him to become an Integrative Health Coach, certified by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches.  Chandler’s personal mission is two-fold:  Improve Lives, Become Better. ‘Improve Lives’ signifies a focus on service to others first and foremost in life. ‘Become Better’ is a daily commitment to practice personal self-improvement.  In many respects, we cannot teach what we do not practice ourselves.

As well, having recovered from multiple addictions previously in life, he believes living the “One Day at A Time” mantra and staying focused in the present is critical to success in recovery and life in general. Less regrets about yesterday, and less worry tomorrow, allows each day to be a new opportunity to grow mentally, physically and spiritually, while helping others do the same.

Chandler spends his free time reading non-fiction, running and volunteering.  His favorite reads are Can’t Hurt Me and The Four Agreements.  He is currently training for his 12th ultramarathon.
